Depending on the requirements and conditions for the purification of exhaust gases, we supply monolithic catalysts based on ceramics or metal substrates with different diameters, depths, cell densities and precious metal loadings - tailored exactly to your engine and the required emission limits by our experts. The catalytically active coatings used are EnviCat 2520, 50300 MH, 2500 MH, TWC-8503 MH, 15200 MH. Frequently requested dimensions are provided to our customers through our own warehousing in a reliable and timely manner.

Combustion of gas or oil in combustion engine plants and combined heat and power plants produces not only energy in the form of heat and electricity, but also emissions such as formaldehyde (HCHO), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), volatile organic compounds (VOC) and particulate matter. Due to legal requirements for compliance with emission limit values, the use of suitable catalysts for emission reduction is therefore essential.
To produce these catalysts, a so-called "washcoat" is applied to a metal support. In the washcoat, which mostly consists of porous aluminum oxide, there are catalytically active noble metals, such as platinum, palladium or rhodium. Due to the high porosity and tortuosity of the washcoat, surfaces of up to several hundred square meters per gram can be achieved in order to optimize the efficiency of the emission reduction.
In order to convert hazardous compounds such as carbon monoxide (CO), volatile organic compounds (VOC) or formaldehyde into non-toxic products such as carbon dioxide and water, catalysts with active precious metals such as platinum, palladium or rhodium are needed. The precious metals are stored in oxide layers with a particularly high surface area. As support for the oxide layers, both metallic and ceramic substrates can be used.
In order to achieve ideal efficiency and the correct pressure drop of a turbine, the design of the catalyst elements or monoliths is decisive.
